The Daviess Community Hospital Wound Care Center specializes in diagnosing non-healing wounds and developing an effective treatment plan. We utilize a team approach that involves the medical staff and patient working together to devise an optimal plan of care.

Wound care treatment plans may include:

  • One-on-one education and instruction with patients and family
  • Weekly Wound Center visits
  • Referrals to home care and other specialty services
  • Diagnostic Testing

  • Redness or discoloration around the wound site
  • Increased pain
  • Drainage from the wound site

​If you have any of the above symptoms, speak with your primary care provider. We accept wound care patients of all ages, whether it be acute or chronic. Immediate appointments are available. No formal referral is required. We accept most payors, including Medicaid, and most commercial plans (Anthem, Sagamore, United Healthcare, etc.)
