About Jan

Jan Watkins, Licensed Social Worker, began her career in behavioral health in 1997. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana State University and began working for a community mental health system. Jan later earned her Masters of Social Work degree from Indiana Wesleyan University and joined the behavioral health team at Daviess Community Hospital's Transitions Outpatient Behavioral Health Services in 2021. Jan sees clients aged 18 and older and applies a range of therapeutic interventions, including methods of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). In her spare time, she enjoys family activities with her spouse and two children, spending time in nature, painting, and camping.
