Cancer Patient Navigator
A Cancer Patient Navigator acts as a personal guide educator, liaison and
advocate for the newly diagnosed cancer patient andtheir family. The navigator
works with patients and families to help them at many points along the
continuum. This may include education on the specific
questions, finding physicians, explaining the treatment and care options
available, and much more. There are many
outside the hospital that can act as useful additions to your cancer treatment,
and your navigator can guide you to them.
