Nurse of the Year Awards

Recognizing Excellence in Nursing at DCH

At Daviess Community Hospital, our nurses are the heart of patient care—providing compassion, clinical excellence, and unwavering dedication to those we serve. Each year during Nurses Week, we proudly recognize two outstanding individuals through our Nurse of the Year Awards:

  • Inpatient Nurse of the Year
  • Outpatient Nurse of the Year

These awards celebrate nurses who go above and beyond in delivering exceptional care and embody the values that define DCH.

Honoring Those Who Make a Difference

The Nurse of the Year Awards highlight Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who consistently demonstrate excellence in their practice and a deep commitment to patients, families, and teammates.

Nominations are submitted by DCH staff, providing an opportunity for colleagues to recognize those who inspire, lead, and elevate the standard of care across our organization.
