Christy Mehringer, MBA, serves as Chief Financial Officer at Daviess Community Hospital, where she oversees the financial strategy, budgeting, revenue cycle, accounting operations, and long-term financial stewardship of the health system. She works closely with clinical, operational, and administrative leaders to support sustainable growth, strengthen organizational performance, and ensure responsible use of resources in service to the community.

Christy brings more than two decades of experience in healthcare finance and operational leadership across hospital and physician group environments. Before joining DCH, she held key leadership roles at Columbus Regional Health, Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, and Indiana University Health. Her background includes financial planning and analysis, revenue cycle oversight, audit and compliance management, practice management finance, and leading multidisciplinary teams through complex system integrations and process improvements.

A collaborative and people-focused leader, Christy believes in empowering high-performing teams, fostering open communication, and aligning financial strategy with the hospital’s mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality care. She is committed to enhancing efficiency, supporting service expansion, and ensuring the long-term financial health of DCH.

Originally from a small town in Illinois, Christy lives in Jasper with her husband, Brent, and their two sons, Calvin and Miles. Outside of work, she enjoys attending her children’s sporting events, cooking, and spending time with her family.
