Joint Commission Public Notice

Daviess Community Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality of care and maintaining a safe environment for all patients, visitors, and staff. To support these goals, our hospital participates in regular surveys conducted by the Joint Commission, the nation’s leading accrediting body for healthcare organizations. These surveys may occur without advance notice at any time.

The primary objective of these evaluations is to assess Daviess Community Hospital’s adherence to nationally recognized standards that focus on quality of care, patient safety, and the overall environment in which care is delivered. Findings from these surveys help determine our accreditation status and highlight areas for continuous improvement.

If you have concerns about patient care or safety at Daviess Community Hospital, we encourage you to first bring them to the attention of our hospital leadership. We are dedicated to addressing all concerns promptly and thoroughly.

Individuals who feel their concerns have not been adequately addressed by the hospital may also contact the Joint Commission directly. You may request a public information interview with a Joint Commission surveyor during a survey. All requests must be made in writing and submitted to:

Office of Quality Monitoring
The Joint Commission
One Renaissance Boulevard
Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181

All information shared during these interviews will be reviewed for its relevance to the accreditation process.

This notice is provided in accordance with Joint Commission accreditation requirements.
