More than 100 Years of Combined Healthcare Experience
Tracy Conroy serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Daviess Community Hospital. She
most recently served as director of operations for Tri State Community
Clinics. Prior to that she was director of clinical services for The Village
at Hamilton Pointe and also served as CEO of Select Specialty Hospital
for 11 years
Randy Russell serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Daviess Community Hospital. Randy
comes to DCH from Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center (MHHCC) in
Jasper. His career at MHHCC began in 1999 as Director Finance. He was
promoted to Controller in 2005 and then to CFO in 2014. Randy is a past
president of the Indiana Health Financial Management Association (HFMA)
and continues to serve on the state’s board. Randy has a BS in Economics
from the University of Southern Indiana and has received his MBA from
Ball State University.
Keith Miller serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Daviess Community Hospital. Keith
oversees DCH’s ongoing operations and strategic growth priorities
to support the goals, objectives, and vision of Daviess Community Hospital.
Keith comes to DCH from St. Vincent-Evansville (formerly St. Marys). His
career at St. Mary's began in 2006 as a flight paramedic. He was promoted
to Lead Flight Paramedic in 2010. In his role with LifeFlight, Keith also
served as an executive board member for the Indiana and Kentucky Associations
of Air Medical Services, and as the president of INAAMS from 2011 – 2012.
Keith later served as the Senior Coordinator in Strategic Development at
St. Vincent Evansville and then served as Director of Strategic Development
for the last 2 ½ years. His latest responsibilities included directing
growth initiatives involving regional hospitals and local and regional
providers with a focus on improving care coordination and communication
with other systems.
Prior to St. Mary's, Miller served as an EMT, Advanced EMT, and paramedic
with EMS agencies throughout Southwest Indiana, including Daviess, Warrick,
Posey, Pike, and Dubois counties.
Miller is from Montgomery, Indiana, and is a Barr-Reeve High School graduate.
He earned his associate degree in paramedic science from Ivy Tech Community
College-Southwest, a bachelor's degree in health services from the
University of Southern Indiana, and is currently working toward his MBA
at Romain College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana.
Nancy M. Case, BSN, RN, LNCC, serves as the Vice President of Nursing Services at Daviess Community Hospital.
Nancy joined St. Vincent-Evansville in January 2011 as a valued member
of their leadership team. During her tenure as Director of the Cardiac
Telemetry Unit at St. Vincent-Evansville, RN satisfaction scores on surveys
rose to the top 25% as compared to like units participating in the survey.
Her commitment to evidence based leadership practices such as nurse leader
rounding on both associates and patients, as well as bedside shift report,
have resulted in her unit consistently ranking in the top four units at
St. Vincent Evansville. Nancy has collaborated with her team to establish
a Healthy Work Environment initiative and an RN residency program to improve
staff retention on her unit. In addition, heart failure and myocardial
infarction 30-day readmission rates have declined by 20% and 40% respectively
through her work with the heart failure interdisciplinary team.
Nancy has also served as Risk Manager and Nurse Manager for many years
at Ball Memorial in Muncie, IN. She is a Fellow of the Healthcare Advisory
Board in Washington, D.C. and a member of the Indiana Organization of
Nurse Executives and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
As Vice President of Nursing Services, Nancy will provide executive leadership
and guidance to the outstanding team of nurses at Daviess Community Hospital.
Cara Veale serves as the Executive Director of Provider Services. In the interim,
Cara also serves as the Chief Patient Experience Officer.
Cara received both her Master’s in Occupational Therapy and her Doctorate
in Health Sciences from the University of Indianapolis. She began her
career at Daviess Community Hospital in 2007 as an Occupational Therapist
on the Inpatient Rehab Unit and later stepped into a management role as
the Director of Rehabilitation Therapy. In 2015, Cara accepted the role
of Chief Patient Experience Officer. Cara has provided high-level leadership
training, facilitated training and implementation of various best practices
at Daviess Community Hospital and served as a direct avenue for the patient
and community voice.
