Daviess Community Hospital Presents Donation to United Way of Daviess County

Employee pledges, fundraising events, and hospital administration support raise $7,364 for local community programs

WASHINGTON, Ind. — July 16, 2026 — Daviess Community Hospital is proud to announce a $7,364 donation to the United Way of Daviess County, reflecting the hospital’s continued commitment to strengthening the health and well-being of the local community.

The contribution includes $2,364 raised through employee pledges and fundraising events, along with an additional $5,000 contribution from Hospital Administration. Together, these efforts demonstrate the generosity of Daviess Community Hospital employees and leadership in supporting programs that help meet critical needs across Daviess County.

On July 15, 2026, Daviess Community Hospital staff presented a $5,000 check to United Way of Daviess County. Representing the hospital were Justin D. Harris, CEO; Christy Mehringer, CFO; Jenna Bedwell, CNO; Angie Steiner, Director of Service Excellence and the DCH Foundation; and Heather Stone, HR Business Partner and United Way Board Member.

Accepting the donation on behalf of United Way of Daviess County were Zella Taylor, CEO; Suzette Ebbinga, Program and Operations Assistant; and Steve Walden, Washington Fire Chief and United Way Board Member.
