A Flavorful Midday Fiesta at DCH
Washington, Indiana — The Daviess Community Hospital Cafeteria was filled with flavor, color, and community during its Mexican Fiesta Themed Lunch on Wednesday, October 15. Hosted by the Food & Nutrition Services team, the event welcomed staff, patients, visitors, and community members for a celebration of classic favorites and bright fall energy.
What Was on the Menu?
The menu included:
Tacos or burritos
Corn and black beans
Refried beans
Mexican street corn
Churros
All meals were freshly prepared and served with festive flair.
“It’s about more than food—it’s about bringing people together through experiences,” said Rebecca Vest, CDM, CFPP, Food Service Director at DCH.
Monthly Moments of Joy
Themed lunches at DCH take place once a month and everyone is welcome. These events offer a small but meaningful way to build community, support morale, and highlight the outstanding work of the hospital’s Food & Nutrition Services team.
What’s Next?
DCH’s themed lunch series continues with two more festive events to close out the year:
