DCH Hosts Harvest Party Lunch on Nov. 12

Daviess Community Hospital is turning up the warmth this season with its next themed cafeteria event: the Harvest Party Lunch on Wednesday, November 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the DCH Cafeteria.
Hosted by the Food & Nutrition Services team, the event is open to all staff, patients, visitors, and members of the community. Whether you work at DCH or are simply nearby at lunchtime, you’re invited to enjoy classic fall flavors and a welcoming atmosphere.
On the Menu: Cozy Comforts
The Harvest Party lunch will feature:
Grilled hotdogs or grilled brats
Crispy fries
Gooey s’mores
Sweet caramel apples
Each item is made fresh and served with a side of fall spirit.
“This season is all about warmth, connection, and community,” said Rebecca Vest, CDM, CFPP, Food Service Director at DCH. “Our Harvest Party lunch is a fun way to share those comforting fall flavors with staff, patients, and visitors while celebrating the simple joys of good food and good company.”
A Monthly Celebration of Food and Connection
The Harvest Party is part of a monthly themed lunch series developed by the Food & Nutrition Services team to bring creativity and connection to the cafeteria. Previous events like Tropical Paradise Day and Sock Hop Lunch have drawn strong participation from across the hospital and local community.

Next Up: Winter Wonderland – December 10
The final themed lunch of the year will be Winter Wonderland, happening on Wednesday, December 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
The menu will feature:
Chili and grilled cheese
Hot chocolate
Apple cider
Fresh-baked cookies
And—if all goes to plan—a visit from Santa with candy canes
