Living with an Ostomy? You’re Not Alone.
Adjusting to life with an ostomy can bring challenges, but support is available. The Ostomy Support Group of Southern Indiana meets on the first Sunday of every month at 2 p.m. at Daviess Community Hospital to provide a welcoming space for individuals living with an ostomy, those preparing for ostomy surgery, and their loved ones.
This peer-led group offers a friendly and understanding environment where attendees can share experiences, ask questions, and receive encouragement from others who truly understand the journey. A certified Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) nurse attends each meeting, ensuring access to expert knowledge and support.
