Proceeds from 24th Annual DC Scramble for the Cure donated to DCHF

Proceeds from the 24th Annual DC Scramble for the Cure held on June 15, 2024, were recently donated to the Daviess Community Hospital Foundation. The event was held on June 15th at Washington Country Club. A total of 40 golfers from Evansville, Jasper, Boonville & Washington participated. Many local businesses sponsored the event.
One check for $2,080 was designated for the hospital’s Oncology program and another check for $2,080 was designated for a special fund to help cancer patients who are in need of assistance ranging from gas cards to groceries.
Oncology Nurse Navigator Sharon Mead remarked, “We are so grateful for this generous donation which will help patients get the care and resources that they need in order to receive appropriate care for their diagnosis.”
