About Tristan

Tristen has been a nurse for 11 years ( 9 years working in mental health). She completed her LPN in 2010 from VU and worked in long-term care on a memory care unit, where she first developed a love for working with the geriatric population.

She graduated in 2013 with an Associate's degree in nursing from Wabash Valley College and soon after began working at Daviess Community Hospital. She worked in the Transitions inpatient Behavioral Health Unit for five years.

In 2017 she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and then broadened her knowledge of mental health by working on an 18+-year-old inpatient behavioral health unit that focused on both mental health disorders and detox.

She finished school with her Master’s from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2021 and became a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

She is married to Daniel and has two children, Sam and Caroline. She enjoys spending time with her family on their farm and actively participating in her community and church.
