2025 Nurses Week

At Daviess Community Hospital, nurses are the heart of healing. During the week of May 6–12, DCH celebrated National Nurses Week with special gestures, thank-you treats, and meaningful moments of recognition. The highlight of the week was the 2025 Nurse Reception, held on May 9, where nurses and support team members were honored for their outstanding service and compassion.

Chief Nursing Officer Jenna Bedwell, MSN, RN, delivered heartfelt remarks during the ceremony, praising DCH nurses as caregivers, mentors, and community leaders. “They are advocates for our patients and each other,” she said. “They bring empathy, skill, and strength into every room they enter.”

To every nurse and support team member at DCH—thank you for your heart, your healing touch, and your tireless dedication. You embody the spirit of “People you know. Healthcare you trust.”
