Mammograms are the most reliable way to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages. When caught early, breast cancer is easier to treat and survival rates improve dramatically. DCH is proud to make these services more accessible to the women in our region.
The Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust funds this program through the sale of Indiana’s breast cancer awareness specialty license plate. Since 2002, the trust has awarded more than $7.5 million in community grants to help uninsured Hoosiers access vital breast health services. To support programs like this, purchase a plate at your local BMV or visit breastcancerplate.org/purchase/.
If you or someone you love is due for a mammogram or needs breast imaging, find out if you qualify for this no-cost program.
