Ensure Your Child’s Car Seat Is Safely Installed at DCH’s Free Car Seat Clinic
Daviess Community Hospital is committed to keeping children safe on the road. That’s why we’re hosting a Free Car Seat Safety Clinic on Saturday, September 20, from 9–11 a.m. at the DCH parking lot across from Heartland OB/GYN (1401 Memorial Ave, Suite B, Washington, IN).
At this event, families will receive personalized car seat inspections from nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs). Each appointment lasts about 30 minutes and includes:
Step-by-step guidance on proper installation
Ensuring the seat fits your child’s age, height, and weight
Education on common car seat safety mistakes
Peace of mind knowing your child is as safe as possible on every ride

This free clinic is part of DCH’s ongoing Child Passenger Safety Program, certified by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and the Automotive Safety Program. The program also offers community car seat clinics throughout the year, replacement seats for eligible families, and educational outreach to promote safe travel for children.
