Daviess Community Hospital CEO Justin D. Harris Appointed to Vincennes University Foundation Board of Directors

Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) announced that Chief Executive Officer Justin D. Harris, MSHA, MBA, FACHE, has been elected to the Vincennes University Foundation Board of Directors. Harris’s three-year term began Nov. 1, 2025, and will run through Oct. 31, 2028.
The Vincennes University (VU) Foundation is an independent entity that maintains and administers funds and resources for the benefit of VU and its students, supporting the university’s higher education and community service missions.
“I’m honored to join the Vincennes University Foundation board and to support a mission that advances excellence in education, innovation and opportunity,” Harris said. “As CEO of Daviess Community Hospital, I see every day how a strong talent pipeline—built through local colleges and universities—directly improves access, quality and growth for rural healthcare. Together, we can expand opportunities for students while strengthening the long-term health and resilience of the communities we serve.”
Harris added, “Vincennes University has a proud history of opening doors for learners across our region. I look forward to working with fellow directors to help the university grow, thrive and provide accessible, high-quality education to all who seek it.”
Harris joined DCH in 2025 and has focused on strengthening local access to high-quality care, expanding services, and deepening workforce partnerships. His leadership experience spans rural hospital operations and physician-led organizations.
