Looking for ultrasound services in Washington, Indiana? Daviess Community Hospital (DCH) is excited to announce that our Ultrasound Department has moved to a newly renovated, easily accessible space—making your experience more comfortable and convenient than ever.
Easier Access and a More Comfortable Visit
Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 5, patients will find DCH’s new ultrasound suite just a short walk from the main entrance, near Cardiopulmonary. Enter through the main doors, proceed down the main hallway, turn right after Admitting, and you’ll find the updated suite a few doors down on the right. The refreshed area features bright, welcoming décor, new paint, and modern flooring, all designed to create a positive, professional environment for patients and families.

Part of a Larger Imaging & Radiology Upgrade
This move is just one part of DCH’s ongoing investment in leading-edge imaging services for southwestern Indiana. The Imaging Department at Daviess Community Hospital recently added a state-of-the-art Magnetom Altea 1.5T MRI system, offering faster scans, exceptional image quality, and a more comfortable patient experience. Features of the new MRI include a wide-bore design to reduce claustrophobia, quieter scanning technology, and support for patients up to 550 pounds.
In addition, the Radiology Department underwent a $1.7 million renovation, which introduced a modern reception and waiting area, upgraded dressing rooms, and an improved workflow for greater privacy and efficiency.

Breast ultrasound: To identify abnormalities in breast tissue and support early detection.
Most ultrasound exams at DCH are quick—typically 20 to 45 minutes—and require little or no preparation. Our ultrasound hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
