About Taryn

Taryn Goeppner, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing hospitalist care at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. With more than a decade of experience in acute care nursing and procedural settings, she brings a calm, knowledgeable presence to patients during their hospital stay.

Taryn earned her Master of Science in Nursing–Family Nurse Practitioner from Western Governors University, where she completed clinical rotations in urgent care, cardiology, oncology, and primary care. She previously earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Taryn worked extensively as a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center, serving in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ICU, telemetry, and med-surg units. Her career also includes experience in hospice and rehabilitation nursing, where she honed her patient-centered approach and communication skills.

Taryn is certified in ACLS, BLS, PCCN, and NIH Stroke Scale and holds active licensure through the Indiana State Board of Nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and actively serves with the Memorial Hospital Nursing Honor Guard. She is also a community volunteer and a partner at Redemption Christian Church.

Known for her compassionate bedside manner and strong collaborative skills, Taryn is committed to ensuring each patient receives high-quality, personalized care.
