About Tanisha

Tanisha Chamberlain, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides hospitalist care at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. With a strong foundation in intensive care and critical care nursing, she brings over a decade of clinical experience to support hospitalized patients and their families.

Chamberlain holds a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University Northwest, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Vincennes University. Her advanced clinical background spans surgical, trauma, and medical/surgical intensive care units, where she developed a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Prior to joining DCH, Chamberlain served as a nurse practitioner at SWDC Medical Associates and worked in ICU and trauma units at Deaconess Health System and Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville.

She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains active credentials in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Critical Care Nursing through the AACN.
