Rebekah Hedrick, FNP-C

Rebekah Hedrick, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages at the DCH Medical Clinic in Washington, Indiana. She is dedicated to serving rural and underserved communities by delivering compassionate, patient-centered care focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and long-term wellness.

Hedrick brings more than a decade of healthcare experience to her role, with a clinical background that spans family practice, surgical obstetrics, inpatient care, and operating room nursing. She provides care for patients across the lifespan—from infants to older adults—and is experienced in managing both acute and chronic health conditions.

Her clinical approach emphasizes thorough patient assessment, individualized care planning, and education to help patients better understand and manage their health. She routinely performs wellness exams, sports physicals, and preventive screenings, while also offering guidance on vaccinations and chronic disease management. Her procedural experience includes suturing, cryotherapy, incision and drainage, wound care, and diagnostic interpretation, including EKGs.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Hedrick served as a registered nurse at Daviess Community Hospital, where she gained experience in surgical care across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, OB-GYN, pediatrics, and ENT. She also worked in a post-operative and trauma unit, strengthening her ability to manage complex patient needs and coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams.

As a participating member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Hedrick remains committed to staying current with evidence-based practices and delivering high-quality care close to home.
