About Misty

Misty Petro, PTA, AT-C, is a Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Athletic Trainer with the CORE Center at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She provides outpatient rehabilitation and athletic training services, helping patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy.

With experience in both physical therapy and sports medicine, Misty’s areas of focus include orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention, and therapeutic exercise programming. Her dual certification allows her to blend clinical rehabilitation techniques with athletic performance principles, supporting recovery and strength for patients of all ages.

Misty earned her Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from Vincennes University and a Bachelor of Arts in Athletic Training from Franklin College. Her diverse background and patient-centered approach help ensure each individual receives personalized, effective care that promotes long-term wellness and independence.
