Miranda K. Schneider, FNP-C, NNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner serving as a Pediatric Hospitalist and Level II Nursery Coordinator at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She provides specialized newborn and pediatric care, combining her expertise in neonatal intensive care with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Miranda earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2003 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vincennes University in 2011. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, at Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014. In 2023, she further advanced her education by completing a Post-Master’s Certificate in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Studies at the University of Indianapolis, including more than 700 hours of clinical training in a NICU setting. This training enhanced her ability to provide high-level, specialized care for infants and to lead the hospital’s Level II Nursery with expertise.

Her experience spans more than 15 years in neonatal intensive care, obstetrics, pediatrics, and newborn hospitalist care. Miranda is also a nationally certified S.T.A.B.L.E. instructor and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) lead instructor, reinforcing her role as a trusted leader in neonatal health.
