About Michele "Mickey"

Michele "Mickey" Deitz, PTA, LSVT-certified, is a Physical Therapist Assistant with the CORE Center at Daviess Community Hospital, serving patients in Washington and North Daviess, Indiana. With more than four decades of experience, Mickey provides individualized, compassionate care that helps patients regain mobility, strength, and confidence through outpatient therapy, aquatic rehabilitation, and Parkinson’s-focused exercise programs.

Mickey earned her Associate of Science in Physical Therapy from Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana, in 1981. She began her career as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Washington Nursing Center before joining Daviess Community Hospital in 1993, where she continues to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Certified in LSVT BIG therapy for Parkinson’s disease and trained in aquatic therapy, Mickey takes pride in helping her patients achieve their personal recovery goals.

A resident of Washington, Indiana, she lives with her husband, Vincent, and enjoys spending time with their two adult children, Sarah and Vincent III. Outside of work, Mickey enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, practicing yoga, walking her dog Jackson, camping, and hiking.
