About Lynda

Lynda Plummer, AGACNP-BC, is a hospitalist nurse practitioner at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She provides comprehensive inpatient care, collaborating with the hospitalist team to manage patient treatment plans and support recovery during hospitalization.

Lynda has worked at Daviess Community Hospital since 2006, serving in multiple nursing roles before transitioning to her current position in 2023. Her experience includes staff nurse, charge nurse, and RN physician liaison/nurse extender, giving her a broad foundation in patient care and hospital operations.

She earned her Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Postgraduate Certificate from Purdue Global University, a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Vincennes University. Lynda is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications through the American Heart Association.

Beyond her clinical work, Lynda is active in the community, serving as a board member for Rich ‘N Felines, a nonprofit feline rescue in Daviess County. She is also a member of the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
