About Kimberly

Kimberly Benham, DO, FACOEP, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She brings more than a decade of experience caring for patients in high-volume emergency departments, including regional referral centers recognized for excellence in cardiovascular care, stroke treatment, and trauma management.

Dr. Benham is highly skilled in clinical ultrasound and a wide range of emergency procedures. She is known for her exceptional communication skills, using them to connect with patients and families during some of their most critical moments.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed her osteopathic emergency medicine residency at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University, with minors in chemistry and business.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Benham serves as an adjunct clinical associate professor of emergency medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and as an associate clinical instructor at Ohio University School of Medicine. She is active in professional leadership, serving on the board of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP) Young Physicians Section since 2013.
