Jill Walker, CCC-SLP

Jill Walker, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist at the CORE Center at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist since 2000 and has served patients at the CORE Center since 2020.

Jill earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in 1998 and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology in 2000 from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.

At the CORE Center at Daviess Community Hospital, Jill provides speech-language therapy services focused on helping patients improve communication and regain essential skills that support independence and quality of life. She works with patients across a range of conditions and needs, delivering individualized, patient-centered care.

Her clinical areas of focus include:

• Stroke rehabilitation
• Traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation
• Pediatric feeding therapy
• Pediatric life skills development
• Pediatric speech-language therapy

Jill is dedicated to helping patients communicate effectively and confidently. She chose a career in speech-language pathology to help others find their voice and connect with the world around them.

“It is very rewarding when you hear a child say their first word or a stroke patient regain their speech,” she said.

Jill lives in Loogootee, Indiana, with her husband, Will, and their two children, Jaelyn and Drew.

At the CORE Center at Daviess Community Hospital, Jill provides compassionate, individualized care to patients and families across Daviess County and surrounding communities, helping them restore communication, improve function and enhance daily life.
