About Jessica

Jessica Devine, MSN, FNP-C, TCRN, SANE-A, SANE-P, is a family nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. With 15 years of experience in emergency and critical care, she provides compassionate, patient-centered treatment for individuals of all ages in urgent and emergent situations.

Jessica began her career at Daviess Community Hospital in 2010 as a nursing assistant on the medical-surgical floor before advancing to registered nurse, charge nurse, and house supervisor roles in the Emergency Department. She has since completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner program at Chamberlain University in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in 2025 and earning board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in June 2025.

In addition to her emergency medicine background, Jessica is a certified Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner for both adult/adolescent and pediatric patients (SANE-A, SANE-P). She holds multiple active certifications, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

A lifelong resident of Washington, Jessica lives with her husband, Derrick, Chief of Police for the Washington Police Department, their daughters Aubrey and Addison, and their dog, Graham. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family, and relaxing at the beach.

Jessica’s passion for nursing began at a young age, inspired by her aunts, both nurses, and reinforced by early experiences shadowing a nurse practitioner during the Twin Rivers program in high school. She is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in their moments of greatest need.
