About Emily

Emily Otto, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing urgent and primary care for patients of all ages at the Daviess Community Hospital Quick Care Clinic in Washington, Indiana. She delivers patient-centered, evidence-based care with a focus on efficiency, compassion, and positive health outcomes.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University in Bloomington and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner track, from the University of Southern Indiana. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and maintains advanced training in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Her clinical background includes urgent care, primary care, home-based healthcare, and telehealth. Emily has served patients in diverse settings across multiple states, from providing in-home urgent care through Dispatch Health in Virginia to working in primary care and urgent care clinics in Kentucky and Indiana. Her experience includes managing acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and complex medical needs, as well as performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, catheter placement, and IV therapy.

Emily’s earlier career as an intensive care unit nurse in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Bloomington provided her with a strong foundation in critical care, emergency response, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
