Emelia D. Winston, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist providing comprehensive women’s health care at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. She is dedicated to supporting women through every stage of life, offering preventive, prenatal, surgical, and acute care services designed to meet each patient’s unique needs.
Dr. Winston earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. She completed her OB/GYN residency at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, following an internship and residency at Community Health of South Florida in Miami, Florida.
She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ABOG) and holds academic appointments as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology with the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Winston’s professional background includes providing obstetric and gynecologic care in both hospital and clinical settings, managing high-risk pregnancies, performing surgeries, and leading patient safety and quality initiatives.
