About Elizabeth
Elizabeth McKnight is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients at Daviess Community Hospital’s Quick Care Clinic. With more than two decades of nursing experience, McKnight brings a deep commitment to rural health, compassionate care, and evidence-based practice.
Before joining DCH, McKnight provided urgent and occupational health care at Well Now Urgent Care and First Care Clinics, where she supported multiple rural communities through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. She also has experience in psychiatric inpatient care, having worked at The Meadows in Bloomington, Indiana, where she conducted medical evaluations and addressed complex health concerns.
McKnight earned her Master of Science in Nursing and a Post-Graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Her nursing foundation began with both practical and associate’s degrees from Ivy Tech Community College.
Her clinical background spans medical-surgical units, cardiovascular care, ICU, hospice, home health, and long-term care. She is DOT-certified and skilled in providing assessments across the lifespan, minor wound repair, splinting, and holistic prevention strategies.
McKnight is passionate about delivering accessible, high-quality care to patients in need—particularly those in rural and underserved communities.
