About Christy

Christy Breitweiser, MSN, NP-C, is an experienced nurse practitioner specializing in urology at Daviess Community Hospital’s Urology Clinic. With more than 20 years of experience in surgical nursing and patient care, Christy is committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care to individuals throughout southwestern Indiana.

Christy earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Ball State University, where she focused on family nurse practitioner studies. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and associate degrees in nursing and science from Vincennes University.

Throughout her career, Christy has served in a variety of roles, including nurse practitioner, operating room nurse, clinical coordinator, bariatric case manager, and staff educator. Her clinical background encompasses advanced surgical care, patient education, and the coordination of multi-disciplinary healthcare teams. At DCH Urology, Christy assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients for a full spectrum of urologic conditions, delivers patient-centered education, and assists with specialized procedures such as Da Vinci robotic surgeries and male and female pelvic health surgeries.

Known for her approachable demeanor and dedication to her patients, Christy is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she serves. She believes in the importance of individualized care, open communication, and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
