Christopher A. Manger, MD

Christopher Adam Manger, MD, is a physician providing emergency medical care at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. He brings decades of experience in emergency medicine, including leadership roles, clinical instruction, and service across both high-volume and rural emergency departments.

Dr. Manger earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency and internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana. His professional background includes extensive experience as an emergency medicine attending physician at hospitals throughout Indiana, Kentucky, and surrounding regions, as well as service in urgent care and trauma-level facilities.

Throughout his career, Dr. Manger has held leadership positions, including medical director roles within emergency departments, and has been actively involved in clinical education. He has served as a clinical instructor for emergency medicine with the University of Evansville Physician Assistant Program and has experience teaching physician assistant students and resident physicians.

Dr. Manger maintains current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). He is licensed to practice medicine in Indiana and Kentucky and has completed additional continuing medical education in emergency ultrasound and emergency medicine board review courses.

At Daviess Community Hospital, Dr. Manger works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care for patients with urgent and acute medical needs.
