About Chris

Chris Marchino, MD, is an experienced emergency medicine physician providing expert, compassionate care in the Emergency Department at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana. Since beginning his practice in 1999, Dr. Marchino has cared for patients in both rural emergency rooms and high-volume Level II trauma centers, bringing a broad clinical background to every case.

A native of Indiana, Dr. Marchino earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Indiana University in Bloomington, where he also competed as a track athlete. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine. Over the course of his career, he has developed a reputation for his dedication to rapid, accurate diagnosis and effective emergency treatment, always prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Beyond his clinical role, Dr. Marchino values family and community. He enjoys weightlifting, golfing, and attending live music events, and he remains connected to his alma mater and former teammates.
