About Chelsea

Chelsea Cummins, FNP-C, MSN, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner providing urgent care and primary care for patients of all ages at the Daviess Community Hospital's Quick Care Clinic in Washington, Indiana. She is passionate about delivering timely, compassionate, and comprehensive care that helps patients achieve and maintain their best health.

A lifelong Hoosier, Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Indiana and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner track, from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and also holds certification as a Medical Examiner through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

Chelsea’s extensive experience spans family practice, urgent care, direct primary care, retail health, and telehealth. She has served patients across southwestern Indiana in multiple healthcare settings, providing preventive wellness care, physicals, chronic disease management, acute illness treatment, and in-office procedures such as cryotherapy, mole removal, laceration repair, trigger point injections, and biopsies.

She has also worked as a critical care nurse, inpatient rehabilitation nurse, and nurse educator.
