Cari Cumberworth, MSOT,OTR/L

Cari Cumberworth, MSOT, OTR/L, is a registered and licensed occupational therapist at Daviess Community Hospital's CORE Center in Washington, Indiana. She provides individualized occupational therapy services focused on restoring functional independence and improving quality of life for adult and geriatric patients.

Cari earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis in June 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Exercise and Sport Psychology from the University of Evansville.

She brings clinical experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation and post-acute care settings, where she has provided occupational therapy evaluations, developed treatment plans and guided patients through recovery from orthopedic, neurological and cognitive impairments. Her work emphasizes maximizing independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), functional mobility, transfers and safe use of adaptive equipment.
