About Brooke

Brooke A. Thompson, PTA, is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Daviess Community Hospital, specializing in pediatric therapy within educational and outpatient settings. She has provided therapy at DCH for 20 years and has more than 25 years of experience working with children.

A graduate of Vincennes University with an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy (1999), Brooke has dedicated her career to helping children achieve important milestones and reach their highest level of function.

“I love working with children because no two days are ever the same,” Brooke said. “Every child brings their own personality, and every session is a new puzzle to solve. I love helping children reach milestones that many take for granted — like standing, walking, or simply playing with friends. The teamwork in pediatrics is special because everyone is cheering for the same little victories.”

Brooke collaborates closely with families, teachers, and therapists to support each child’s goals and ensure progress that extends beyond the therapy room.
