Braxton D. Facer, DPM, is a foot and ankle surgeon providing expert podiatric care at Daviess Community Hospital and DCH's CORE Center in Washington, Indiana, through a collaboration with Tri-State Orthopaedics. Dr. Facer specializes in both conservative and surgical treatment of foot and ankle conditions for patients of all ages.

He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and went on to a high-volume podiatric surgical residency at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana. His training emphasized trauma care, rearfoot and forefoot reconstruction, and included weekly rotations in orthopedic clinics. Dr. Facer is board-eligible and certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and CPR.

At DCH, Dr. Facer offers patient-centered care for a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, arthritis, tendonitis, bunions, plantar fasciitis, flatfoot deformities, and fractures. He is experienced in image-guided procedures and minimally invasive surgical techniques to help patients restore mobility and reduce pain.

Dr. Facer is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA). He is fluent in Spanish (Se habla español), and he takes pride in building strong relationships with his patients to help them return to the activities they enjoy.
