Visitors for OB

  • 2 Visitors are allowed in the delivery room.
  • 2 adults may visit at a time. The change is that they do not have to be the same 2 visitors for the entire episode of care. Visitors must be well and have had no sick contacts.
  • Siblings may visit during the postpartum period from 1600 – 1900. A limit of 2 children may be present in the patient room at any time. Although we do have a decrease in COVID-19, we have to be mindful of the overcrowding of the rooms that staff members must go in. Visiting siblings must be well and have had no sick contacts.
  • Waiting areas are not open for congregation of visitors. Visitors must remain in the patient room at all times. No congregating in hallways.
  • Visitors shall only be required to wear a face mask in the patient room when staff members are present.
  • Patients will not be tested for COVID-19 when being placed on the OB Unit unless they are symptomatic or have had contact with an individual that is COVID-19 positive or has a respiratory illness.
