Patient Care & Safety

It is important to the workforce at Daviess Community Hospital that all our patients and families are comfortable with and confident of the care we provide. Should an issue arise regarding the quality of patient care, hospital administration encourages you to bring your concerns to the department director by calling the hospital at 812-254-2760 and asking for the director of the department in which you received care.

If you feel the director’s response is inadequate, please contact the Administration Executive Assistant at (812) 254-2760 x 4500 or email: patientexperience@dchosp.org.

Letters of concern may also be mailed to: Daviess Community Hospital, Attn: Administration, 1314 E Walnut Street, Washington, IN 47501

As safe, high quality patient care is our goal, we value your input.

Since Daviess Community Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission, patients also have the option to file issues of concern with them. Please summarize the issues in one to two pages and include the name, street address, city, and state of the health care organization.
