Provides indirect patient care in the office/clinic setting. Greets and
registers patients. Performs clerical duties; meets the communication
needs of the patient/family, office/clinic staff and the medical staff;
participates in performance improvement activities.
High School Graduate or equivalent.
One year experience in office setting or hospital setting
Experience with billing and insurance preferred.
Strong communication skills
Additional languages beneficial
Strong computer knowledge
Knowledge of medical terminology
Answer phones, make appointments, check patients in and out.
