Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or PharmD and Indiana license is required along with hospital experience.
Experience:
This position reports to the CEO and will be responsible to function as a pharmacist as well as direct, coordinate and manage all activities and functions of the pharmacy. Hospital and director level experience a must, along with strong leadership skills to work collaborately with physician, department leaders and staff. Must have strong working knowledge of JACHO, HCAPS, and other regulatory requirements and have ability to develop, implement, teach, track and monitor policies and procedures. Will supervise and support 3 fulltime pharmacists and 5 pharmacy technicians. Position requires occasional weekend and on-call responsibilities. Experience with Paragon a plus.
