Richard Pea Named June's Difference Maker of the Month
Richard Pea, the hospital’s Human Resources Director, has been named Daviess Community Hospital’s Difference Maker of the Month.
Pea was honored for making a difference to a patient in the hospital’s Emergency Department. According to ER staff members, he helped staff fax vital information to a physician office during the hospital’s transition to a new phone system. Pea’s efforts resulted in acknowledgement from the patient’s physician as well. The physician called to thank staff for their efforts and for helping to save the patient’s life.
