Ms. Lane made a difference by performing life-saving measures on a 4-year-old visitor.  While the child and mother were walking in the hall near the entrance to the hospital’s Cardiopulmonary Department, the child choked on a piece of candy.  The child couldn’t speak and breathing was completely obstructed.  Ms. Lane performed the necessary emergency measures to dislodge the candy, saving the child’s life.
