Heather Wagler, RN, a nurse on the hospital’s Obstetrics Unit, was recently chosen as Daviess Community Hospital’s Difference Maker of the Year. Selected by votes from employees, medical staff, and hospital Board, Wagler was one of ten nominees for the award.
She was recognized for providing extraordinary personal care and comfort to a patient and family who suffered the loss of their baby.
At a reception at the hospital on October 29, Wagler received a plaque and $100 VISA gift from hospital CEO, Gary Kendrick. |
