| Daviess Community Hospital has appointed Clare Braun Hashemi, M.D. to the Medical Staff. She will provide neurology care on a weekly basis in the hospital’s Physician Specialty Clinic and provide inpatient consultations.
As a neurologist, Dr. Braun Hashemi treats patients with medical illnesses/diseases associated with the anatomy and physiology of the brain and nervous system. While she treats all general neurological issues, she has extensive experience caring for patients with multiple sclerosis, migraine, and neuromuscular diseases.
Dr. Braun Hashemi, a native of Indianapolis, received her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Indiana State University and medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Following medical school, Dr. Braun Hashemi served her internship at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie and completed a neurology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. She also completed an EMG/neuromuscular fellowship at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Dr. Braun Hashemi holds board certification with the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry and is a member of American Academy of Neurology, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers, and Indiana State Medical Association. |  |
