Coen is a native of Fort Wayne and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Alabama in Mobile.  He has experience in many facets of behavioral health care services having served as program director for both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units as well as geriatric psychiatric units in Indiana and Utah. 

 As director of the hospital’s Transitions unit, Coen will oversee operations of Transitions inpatient and outpatient service lines with a focus on expanding the inpatient unit from 14 to 20 beds and providing additional outpatient outreach services to nursing homes throughout southern Indiana.
