Seventy-three employees of Daviess Community Hospital were recognized Friday, July 30th for providing over 950 cumulative years of continuous service to the hospital. The honored employees were served a steak lunch by the hospital managers.
Hospital CEO Gary G. Kendrick spoke to the employees about how important their dedication and experience are to the hospital. “We are so pleased to honor these employees who have become such valuable mentors to the new employees of the hospital,” said Kendrick.
He said that having an experienced staff is good for everyone who is involved with the hospital, from the patients to the entire hospital family. “The knowledge you have gained from years of experience with the hospital that you share with new employees not only provides them with important skills that in turn benefit the patients, but it gives them something to look up to,” Kendrick said. “Your dedication is admirable and something that others can strive towards.”
While at the luncheon, the employees also received gifts based on years of service. |
