| Daviess Community Hospital recorded the hospital’s first birth of 2012 at 9:11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3. Demetri Jamal Lesure, son of Ashley Pruett, Odon, and Eunice Dewayne Lesure, Jr., Washington, weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and measured 19-1/2 inches long.
Demetri has three siblings—Quincy Mills Pruett, age 4; Xavior Dewayne Lesure, age 4; and Rashad Anthony Lesure, age 3.
Last year, the hospital's Obstetrics Department delivered 525 babies, setting a record for the highest number of births ever recorded at the hospital. |
