Daviess Community Hospital has announced that Dennis E. King, DO, Radiologist has joined the hospital’s Medical Staff. Dr. King comes to DCH from Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Prior to practicing in Florida, he was a radiologist at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes and Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
He earned his DO from the Chicago Collage of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency program in radiology and nuclear medicine at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. King is board certified in nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, radiology, and family medicine.
Dr. King is a member of the American Medical Association, the Radiologic Society of North America, the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the American College of Radiology, the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, and the American Osteopathic Association.
As Daviess Community Hospital’s Radiologist, Dr. King will have access to radiologists who specialize in the various subspecialty fields through the hospital’s arrangement with the Summit Radiology Group based in Fort Wayne. The physicians are all graduates of accredited Radiology Residency Programs, but in addition, most have completed additional Fellowship training in various subspecialty fields such as Interventional Radiology, Body Imaging, Mammography, Neuroradiology, Musculoskeletal and Nuclear Medicine. Physicians who specialize in reading certain diagnostic tests will be available, allowing patients to have access to additional expertise without traveling to other hospitals for testing. |  |
